Pro work demands pro tool (just watch any episode of This Old House and see the tools the pro contractors use to build a house. I too saw that immediately, and then marveled at the work someone was doing using that very capable (and expensive) setup. Perhaps an oops? Someone with a.well.$6000 laptop with cool video stuff on it care to see if they can zoom in and sleuth it out?ĮDIT: I see now there is a thread about the teaser trailer, and it devolved into a criticism of the price of the workstation. Apple HiFi! haha.Īnd while we're on it, while the camera was following along a presenter in a "lab" (can't recall who) I though for sure I saw an iMac that looked like a 24" one.but was WAY bigger. I'm kinda surprised there hasn't been more comments about all were used in making that video. The opening teaser trailer of the event was fun. I've bought my last Apple TV in its current state, so there's nothing here of interest. The change to the HomePod mini is cosmetic. I'd like to try spatial audio, but really don't see the price to do so is justified.
#Industrial strength macbook pro covers upgrade#
And the M1 MBA will continue to drop in price as well, so that bodes well for an upgrade (of my 2012 MBA) soon.
I will upgrade (my 2009 27"iMac) to one of those when I see the next Good Deal. I am not in this category, so I won't be buying myself, but know when these kinds of upgrades hit, the prices on personal devices (like the 24" iMac) will drop. These new macbooks really do seem to be the kinds of tools in demand by a wide range of industrial professions, and I suspect they will sell well. I saw nothing I'd personally buy, but as an engineer, the development of developer level tools is impressive.
For me, there was little of personal interest, other than as a shareholder.
